Königstein Fortress is located approx. 35 km south-east of Dresden and can be reached by almost any means of transport.

PARKING

Multi-storey car park “Königstein am Malerweg” at the B 172 (Festung Königstein turn-off) for cars, motorcycles and caravans (operator: town Königstein).
Walk away to the fortress: approx. 10 minutes.

for coaches (parking charge € 8.00), minibuses (parking charge € 4.00) and disabled parking (free-of-charge) right by the entrance (barrier).

Passenger lift (all the year round) and Panorama lift (April – October) available.
