Guided tours are offered from April till October several times a day.

For the tour through the fortress, you can rent an audio guide for € 2.50 for the following languages: German, English, French, Russian, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Japanese.
Königstein Fortress talks - An expedition through the history of the fortress
Visit the defensive stone throwing and pitch overhang installations at the entrance, the cask cellar of Magdalene’s castle, and the 19th century underground ammunition loading system (in german, english and french).
Admission: € 3.00 for adults; children to the age of 16 free of charge
Charge for guided tours in other languages: € 4.00 for adults, group bookings min. € 80.00 (up to 20 persons, € 4.00 for each additional person).
No more than 40 people.

Ammunition loading installations, casemates and deep cellars - Hidden secrets of the Königstein Fortress
Discover the hidden deep cellars from the Renaissance era and an underground ammunition loading system from the 19th century, and the hidden Caponnière passage (in german).

Admission: € 3.00 for adults; children to the age of 16 free of charge

Key to the past - Lock-keeping captain Clemens talk about everyday life in the fortress
Enjoy the family experience of an amusing tour with the former night watchman in a baroque uniform who will be telling tales of the life of a soldier in former times (in german).
(With a small surprise at the end of the tour!)

Gruesome stories quoted from the chronicle of the fortress - A guided night-time Königstein tour
Spine-chilling fortress tour in lantern light; it ends in a less ghostly "cushy set-up" surprise in the Friedrichsburg Castle (in german).
