Students, apprentices and trainees and disabled persons qualify for concession prices. Children up to 6 years of age are admitted free of charge, but they must have their own ticket within a family ticket. For online tickets, the entitlement to a discount will be checked at the entrance; if this cannot be presented, the full admission price must be paid at the box office. |

Holders of Annual Passes and Schlösserland Passes must book tickets free of charge in the online ticket shop with which they can go directly to the entrance. The corresponding proof (annual/schlösserland pass and an a proof of identity) must be presented with the online ticket at the entrance.
Car park & alternative parking spaces
Please use ONLY the signposted parking spaces! Parking on the edge of the B 172 federal road is prohibited!

up to 1 hour: 2 €
up to 4 hours: 8 €
day ticket: 13 €
Please pay attention to the blue information signs and traffic signs at the Leupoldishain roundabout coming from Pirna and Königstein – parking availability in the car park is displayed!
Alternative parking spaces (free of charge)
The following alternative parking spaces are available:
- P1: Leupoldishain, Königsteiner Straße 46 (esw Autoservice/HENT Transporte) - Please note! This car park is closed from 8 p.m.!
- P2: Leupoldishain, Königsteiner Straße 45 (Betriebsparkplatz der Wismut GmbH)
- P3: Leupoldishain, Königsteiner Straße
Please follow the parking instructions given by the supervisory staff.
Shuttle buses (subject to a charge – see ‘FESTUNGSEXPRESS’ for ticket prices) will take you from the alternative car parks to the fortress and back.
Important: The distance from the alternative car parks to Königstein Fortress is approx. 3 km. The path runs parallel to the B172 federal highway through the forest and is unlit!
Festungsexpress
The Festungsexpress runs every half hour from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. from the town to Königstein Fortress and as a shuttle service from the car park and alternative car parks to the fortress (forecourt).
The Festungsexpress is NOT a public transport service, but is operated by a private provider- Frank Nuhn Freizeit und Tourismus e.K..
