On 1 and 2 June 2024, Königstein Fortress will be in a state of emergency. Let our great historical spectacle with over 300 actors take you back in time. It commemorates the year 1639, when Swedish troops marched from Pirna via Königstein to Bohemia.
A number of uniform groups from all over Germany as well as from the Czech Republic have announced their participation. They will set up a historical encampment with around one hundred white tents at the fortress and camp here for the entire weekend.
Immerse yourself in the everyday life of soldiers at that time - numerous demonstrations await you, including pikemen and musketeer demonstrations, marches with drums, cooking over an open fire, old craftsmanship ... and of course the storming of the fortress with cannons and muskets!
