Special exhibition “Saxony and Napoleon – a deal with the devil?” opened on 19 April.
The Easter Bunny of the Fortress is very inventive – it has already thought up nice surprises for guests of all ages. It will even scuttle into the casemates, as hiding works best there.
Whereas the knight prefers to puff himself for his pleasure, the young lady belongs to the non-smokers. Instead, the dragon which protects her spits fiery smoke. Both figures are about 11 centimetres high and cost 23.90 € each. Moreover, there are many other Christmas ideas for presents and decoration in our museum shop. Just visit it!

In 1639 – during the Thirty Years’ War – Swedish troops came from Pirna and trekked to Bohemia but they did not charge Königstein Fortress. From 1 to 2 June, they will be back to the Fortress again – and this time, their conquest will be successful!
