The defensive scenario as an immersive experience

The film shows the force and deadly precision of Fortress Königstein’s defence system. In the 180° LED wall panorama, you will experience how staggered obstacles, lines of fire, hidden trap mechanisms and the rising terrain worked together, turning what was once the only ascent to the fortress plateau, located around 40 metres higher, into an almost insurmountable sequence of dangers.

A system of fire, traps and rock

In the film, you experience Fortress Königstein’s historic defences in action: cannon positions, the drawbridge, gates, barricades and other ingenious defensive installations come to life. This makes the way they worked not only understandable, but tangible. Anyone who explores the fortress afterwards will recognise the defensive mechanisms shown in the film and understand why no one ever dared to attack Königstein.
