Do you want to explore the fortress on your own?
Then pick up the children's audio guide at the museum shop. It's a device with headphones on which short stories are stored, similar to an mp3 player. Whenever you see a sign with headphones somewhere in the fortress, you can find out more about that place by pressing a button.
If you have a smartphone with you, you can also simply call up the audio guide online and listen to it - free of charge and without installing an app.
Go on a discovery tour with Max, Marie and the fortress commander Alfred von Oer. They will tell you exciting stories about life in earlier times at Königstein Fortress.
The stories are accompanied by sounds and music so that you can really put yourself in the situation. For example, in the state prison the chains rattle and you hear the prisoners.
As a child, you can borrow the audio guide free of charge on-site if your parents also borrow one for adults (2.00 euros) - or simply listen to it for free on your smartphone.
