Wartime barracks III

In the years 1882/83, they removed the casemate section in this position and constructed the bombproof Wartime Barracks III in 1884/85. Its exterior wall is around one meter strong. On the upper and middle floor are ten rooms each, which are connected to each other. In peacetimes, the barracks housed 184 men, in war, it could have accommodated 282 men. The lower floor held storage rooms, a kitchen, coal room, and toilet.
